When we run the Synchronize LDAP it goes to 42 contacts and stops forever. is there a log I can look at to see what user it is stopping at?

0 contacts have been created, 42 contacts have been updated

It stays at that screen (refreshing all the time)

Yes, the following log may be used to determine the list of contacts it was able to sync with and the last contact it got sync'd: -

Code:
<EW_DIR>/jboss/server/sw/log/server.log.<date>-<hour>


where <EW_DIR> is the installation directory, <date> is the date and <hour> is the hour the log was taken.

Note: You may want to check the LDAP mapping (under Setup > LDAP/AD Authentication > Object class field) to make sure the correct attribute is chosen for the LDAP Object Class.
