Note 1: This 5 minute vs 48 hour difference only applies to a feature that many commercial systems lack entirely - namely timer-based background rules. We limit their frequency in the free version because such rules search the entire database and with the large number of knowledgebases running on the free servers, running them every 5 minutes could affect performance.

Email alerts of new events and interactive rules are instantaneous in the free and paid version. Workflow is fully functional and instantaneous in the free version.
