| A | Yes, we provide a full Web Services API and REST API for calling EnterpriseWizard as a client from other applications and a scripting API in Perl and Java for calling other applications from within EnterpriseWizard. In brief, we support full two way communications, with EnterpriseWizard acting as both client and server |
| Q | If we need something that is not supported by the API, can we get at the source code? |
| A | Yes, we provide source code access to everything except the code related to license management, together with a complete development and build environment. |
| Q | We are interested in developing additions to EnterpriseWizard in the future, such as a client interface embedded in one of our own products. Is this possible and are there any license limitations or other issues that could prevent us from doing this? | A |
Yes, it is precisely in order to ensure the possibility of such advanced applications that we provide source code access. Provided that it does not attempt to circumvent the license manager, there are no limitations that would prevent you from do this.
Further, the goal of our API team is to ensure that the standard product will support custom clients without your needing source code access. Where possible, they would offer developer assistance to extend our standard API so that it fully supported your application in all future releases without your needing to modify the source code. |
| Q | We have customers who speak a language that is not included in your list of supported languages. Can we translate the program into this local dialect? |
| A | Yes, you can translate the entire program, including the online wizards and status messages, to the language of your choice by translating a single text file. |
| Q | Can we customize the look and feel of the program - ie., the button icons, HTML controls, etc? |
| A | Yes, the entire look and feel can be customized, and not just for your customers - you can set it up so that each of their customers enjoys a look and feel that matches their corporate preferences. In other words, each installation can support multiple different brands concurrently. |
| Q | We will be taking the training courses and will be supporting our local customers, but we may need help from your developers at times, for example if we find bugs in the program. Is such support available and if so, are there any additional fees? | A | Yes, we offer direct developer support and there are no additional fees unless you ask us to implement custom functionality or assist in developing your custom solution. Certainly there are no fees for helping resolve bugs. |
