Partner Training
We currently offer two levels of training - an introductory 4 hour self-guided sales program, and more extended, advanced implementation training, which can be done by telephone and online meetings or at our in person training courses, which are generally offered every quarter in California. The sales training is a good starting point for all partners, while the implementation training is intended for VARs, system integrators, and VSP's.
4 Hour Sales Training Program
This self-paced training program is intended to give new partners enough information and knowledge about EnterpriseWizard to give effective brief demos of the product and to answer common sales questions. It also introduces you to the methodology for building custom applications.
It consists of the following parts, which we recommend that you follow in the order below.
Review PowerPoint Presentation (10 minutes)
Review the Company Background presentation for background information about the company and its target market. View the presentation as a .pptx file (IE8 will turn this into a zip file that must be downloaded and extracted). View as a pdf file. View the presentation as an avi file.
Review Customer Case Studies (25 minutes)
Review three or four customer case studies to learn about our typical customers and the variety of ways in which they are currently using EnterpriseWizard. Several primary selling themes emerge from these success stories that should help you target your own prospects.
Watch a Tutorial on Building a Custom Application (25 minutes)
Watch the tutorial on Building a Custom Application. This demo shows the detailed steps to create a new application using EnterpriseWizard.
It builds a simple travel expense reimbursement application in 25 minutes, walking through adding a new table and creating fields, workflow, views, and automatic actions for this application.
Manufacturer's Reps will not need to reproduce anything this complex for their demos, but this provides an example of how quick EnterpriseWizard is to customize.
Attend Friday Partner Webinar (90 minutes)
Attend an Introductory Partner Webinar. Please call our partner line to schedule a partner webinar 650-587-8615 ext 712. The topics covered include identifying ideal target customers for EnterpriseWizard, pitching it to potential customers, the variety of solutions it can provide, and how to give a brief demo that will excite potential customers.
Attend Q&A Session (30 minutes)
This is a followup to the Partner Webinar in which you can ask any sales, technical, or other questions you might have and learn from answers to others' questions.
Do a Practice Demo (30 minutes)
As a final step, we recommend that you do a practice 10 minute demo to one of our staff members as if we were a real prospect. This is not intended as a test, but as a learning exercise where we can give you some useful feedback and help you refine your pitch.
Attend a Custom Demo (optional, 1 hour)
Once you have attended the introductory webinar and had your questions answered, we recommend that you attend one of our live personalized demos for a real prospect as a silent observer to see how we demonstrate the product, answer questions, and sell the product. When you are ready, we'll invite you to a relevant upcoming demo.
Implementation and Customization Training
This training is intended for VAR's and System integrators who will be customizing EnterpriseWizard for their customers or market. We currently offer 3 or 5 day partner training classes in California every quarter for detailed hands on experience with the program. The 5 day class includes 2 days of work on a specific application in a guided setting and can be enough time to build your own specialized application for your customers.
We also offer hourly telephone training and consulting using online meeting software to address more advanced features or structural design questions for those who prefer to work with the program themselves without more formal training.
Actually doing the implementation work in EW is not difficult. The most challenging part of an implementation is in designing the structure and figuring out the best way to implement a particular requirement, since there are always multiple ways to set something up in EW. This is where our expertise can save a lot of time by helping partners get started in the right direction when faced with a particular business challenge.
