EnterpriseWizard Pricing Overview

EnterpriseWizard is available in two editions: the Free Edition and the Enterprise Edition. The Free Edition includes about 98% of the EnterpriseWizard feature set. Its main limitation is the number of licenses. View Feature Comparison for Free and Enterprise Editions.

Free Edition

The Free Edition can be used for evaluation or as a permanent solution for smaller organizations. It includes a free license for an administrator, 5 staff seats, and 5 end users (for evaluation of the end user portal functionality). Additional licenses can not be purchased for this edition - instead you can simply upgrade to the Enterprise Edition.

You can sign up for the free hosted service or download and install the Free Edition locally, requesting the free license once you have installed.

Enterprise Edition

The Enterprise Edition can be purchased for any number of users and contains the full feature set of EnterpriseWizard. We offer pricing options to fit every need. Start with risk-free month-to-month Enterprise hosted service or sign up for a longer term hosted or lease contract. If you prefer, purchase a permanent license outright for use on your in house servers. With our hybrid SaaS and purchased software options, you can easily move from one pricing model to another without incurring additional cost.

There are no per module or per function costs with EnterpriseWizard. This means that you can use the product for ITIL, Service Desk management, External Customer Support, Change Management, Sales Automation, Contract Management, and all your other business processes without incurring any additional costs. The pricing is purely based on the number of staff users and includes out-of-the-box application templates designed to get you up and running quickly, with minimal effort.

License Types

Named Staff Seat. This is our main license type. A "named staff seat" is used by someone who regularly works in the staff interface of the system, for instance as a support technician, sales person, project manager, change approver, or marketing director -- essentially a user who has the authority to work on (edit) other people's records as well as his/her own. Named staff licenses are based on active use, and they are automatically freed up after 30 days of disuse. They can also be reassigned if an employee leaves the company.

Unlimited End Users. For an increment of about 30% of the named staff user price, we offer a license for an unlimited number of end users. End users may be internal employees or external users who are "customers" of the system - they interact with the system through the "end user" interface and can create records, view any records they are permitted to view, and can edit only their own records.

As an example, a company might have 4,000 employees who submit helpdesk tickets, 12,000 customers who create support tickets, 200 telemarketers who create sales leads, 40 active support staff, and 60 sales people who follow up on the leads. Such a company could purchase a named staff license for the 100 (60 + 40) named support and sales staff users and for approximately an extra 30% of that cost, include an unlimited end user license that would provide individual logins and access for all the 4,000 internal staff, 12,000 customers and 200 telemarketers as end users.

For those who prefer to purchase concurrent staff licenses, we also offer a limited number of concurrent staff licenses based on the number of named staff seats purchased. Concurrent staff licenses can be purchased in a 1 to 3 ratio to named staff licenses, i.e. for every 3 named licenses purchased, 1 concurrent license may be purchased.

We offer month-to-month service or you can pay for a year up front to get two months for free (12 months for the price of 10).

Note: The reason that we charge a bit more for Windows than Linux is that the initial support costs on Windows tend to be higher for the following reasons:

  • Windows systems employ a wide variety of virus protection programs and security options that can interfere with the installation or running of EnterpriseWizard until they are properly configured.
  • Windows systems are subject to frequent security updates that may automatically reboot the server and cause complaints that "the system suddenly went offline for ten minutes".
  • Every couple of years or so, a security update breaks something. To Microsoft's credit, they always come up with a fix within a couple of weeks, but meanwhile, we have to diagnose the problem and find a workaround for the customer.
This is not to say that Windows is a bad choice. The quality and security of Windows releases has improved dramatically in the past couple of years, we have not seen a security update break a 64 bit system and Windows 7 even seems to be a bit faster than Linux.

Software Lease Pricing

Support, upgrades and maintenance are all included in the price. A lease provides pay as you go service, but the software resides on your in-house server. We offer leases in terms of 6, 12, or 18 months, and the pricing is similar to the hosted service pricing.

Support Packages

The Standard Support package includes telephone support during normal working hours, all upgrades and enhancements. It is available at an additional cost of 20% per year of the license value. Implementation Services

We highly recommend using our consulting team for a well designed implementation. Services are available on an hourly basis and customers may engage us for as little as 1 hour. We offer complete packages on both an hourly and a fixed price basis.

Rates are $200 per hour or $1,600 per day for off-site consulting. On-site costs vary based on distance and include travel expenses. Most consulting is done off-site. View information about our consulting services.
